Presenter's understanding of research methodology certainly added to the depth and value of the workshop. Thanks Robyn a very useful 2 days. Kerry 4th May 2011 Thanks so much for the course. It was absolutely fantastic, you are a great teacher! I am a complete NVivo convert and have begun to store a lot of my own personal files onto an NVivo data base as it really is helpful to cross check across the units I teach. Regards, Monique
4th October 2010 Dear Robyn: On behalf of the CHC staff (Kirsty, Colette, Sam, Garth and myself) who attended your Nvivo Workshop on Thursday and Friday last week, I wanted to extend our appreciation and congratulations for a 'job well done'!
You: planned the two-day program and individual sessions exceptionally well, - introduced each session and segment in a practical and well-sequenced manner,
- engaged us with the software, its design and protocols,
- kept us on track and paced the session segments well,
- solved our ‘problems’ as they arose,
- challenged us to think about the applications of the software to our areas of research,
- gave us space to consider and reflect,
- enjoyed our morning and afternoon teas as well as the lunches we had together.
We appreciated your work with us so much. We have been given a very thorough introduction to the operations and potential use of NVivo.
Some photos of our workshop are attached.
Many thanks for the time, energy and expertise that you shared with us. We enjoyed our two days with you.
Kindest regards

University of Western Sydney Thank you for arranging such a great 2 days for the NVivo workshop. I, as did many others, had a great time. Robyn was incredibly patient and helpful and I learnt a great deal. Have also realised how great my data is, in that it tells me so much.

University of New South Wales Just wanted to thank you for running the course yesterday on NVivo. I got a lot out of it (in fact I've been experimenting with different searches and memos since last night and been finding a lot more in my data than before!). Anyway if you look like running a more advanced session later in the year - let me know.

I just wanted to sincerely thank you for your assistance the other day when I rang with an N-Vivo query. I do appreciate your time and patience - particularly because my colleagues and I had deliberated over the issue for so long prior to the call! Anyway, thank you once again.
With appreciation, Dr Ann Dadich MAPS, NSW JP
Wollongong University Thank you again for the workshop. I'm feeling really inspired about analysising the data now. It hasn't take me long to convert existing interview documents . . . so I'm hoping to have all my data put into the project in the next week or so and then I'll be full on coding in no time at all. I look forward to hearing from you when you have a spare minute. In the meantime thank you again for the workshop this week.
Regards, Claire Manning Phd Candidate University of Wollongong

23rd September 2010 Hi Robyn You will be pleased that I did sit down to write the meeting notes. In doing that, I realise that there is a lot for me to do before we meet again, so perhaps a meeting in six weeks time may be right afterall. Please would you suggest a couple of dates? I am totally thrilled with our progress yesterday, thank you heaps! Regards Choon-Hwa Course Date:

| In general how did you find the workshop? website
| Which parts of the workshop did you find most useful? General orientation to NVivo program. Coding.
| Could anything about the workshop be changed to improve your learning experience? As an introductory course to provide an overview and some beginning skills it met my expectations extremely well. Sometimes I could have followed a little bit better with a nano second slower demonstration!! But it certainly kept me on my toes and concentrating. I now need more time to apply the learning and make mistakes and get answers to detailed questions as I implement things. This course helped me get started.
